mirror

A mirror, as people perceive,
is a reflection of oneself.

I think of it as a time capsule,
guarding every version of yourself.

It is a witness,
seeing every angle of you.

A liar at times,
showing only the outside, never the whole story.

Or maybe a judge,
making you question the individual staring back.

It can be kind, like a friend,
revealing what others never noticed.

And if only one of said reflections is true,
which one is you?
